12 days is not a long period but it definitely seemed long.
and now i'm back in home sweet home. yayy.
i want to rewatch boys over flowers again
can't wait for the release of the dvds! i hope there'll be the postcards and additional stuff inside.
maybe it's out; just that i'm not aware of it.

and what's taking the unis so long to send me the acceptance letter.
the long wait is making me feel nervous.
sigh ): i kinda hope i get accepted into smu though.
although i didn't get the interview of my preferred course
but psychology and marketing sounds pretty interesting too.
Not that i know what i want to do in the future
the future is such a blur
and it's so mind-boggling to think about the future now
o'wells.
i shall just be patient and wait for the unis to reply since their window periods are till june.

simple indulgence
hello good evening.today
woke up at around 9.20 before going nanjing road for shopping. but this time, dad's friend and I went to the shopping centres instead of the wholesale centre. it's so much nicer shopping at the shopping centres. cleaner plus less people pushing around plus the people there are less rude! hahaha. yea.
went to many many shops at nanjing road and there was one shopping centre in which the esprit section was having 60 percent off! hahaha. only managed to find two nice tops. the rest were.... not nice at all. zara mango were all there(: . hahaha. but might as well buy from singapore since their stuff do not differ much. lol. walk walk walk.
and we went to raffle's city in shanghai that's supposedly opened by a singaporean:D yea. inside is like a caucasian town 0.o had subway melt for lunch. I went to order over the counter and even when i didn't start speaking. the person started talking to me in english. hahaha. yayy. if not i really don't know what's mayo in chinese -.- and there's a STACCATO branch in raffle's city:D AHHHHH. they should bring STACCATO to singaporeeeee!! many many nice shoes. and i saw this wedge that's very pretty but they were retailing at 800 RMB. i shall wait for big sister to come and see if it's worth buying? shall reconsider because of the price. oh. and they have a hershey's stall selling the chocolate drinks!! quite nice. too bad singapore doesn't have it too.
went to UNI QLO. didn't find their clothes nice. hmmm. and there's H&M in shanghai too. lol. so many brands that you're spoilt for choice. but these imported brands are either the same price as singapore or even more expensive. protectionism? perhaps.....
last stop: some shopping centre near the rented apartment
saw this pair of shoes that were on offer
it's super duper comfy. and it was only retailing at 198! so i just bought it.
original price was 489 RMB or smth.
what a steal(:

later gonna pick big sister from the airport. she'll be arriving arnd 10.45.

helloooo.i'm blogging again at this timing. getting up at only 9am tomorrow to go shopping again :D
But i'll be going to the shopping centres tomorrow . yayy
today went to nanjing road's wholesale centre. bought a few pieces cause it's really
hahaha!! they said they sell it online too. not sure if it's true.
okay. let's back-track a little
remember i said that i went to watch the F1 race. ): sigh. it was raining so heavily that we left at lap 46. seriously the rain and wind was so heavy that me and my father couldn't take it. it hurts when the rain water spashes onto your face due to the high wind velocity! so. hahaha. didn't even know the outcome. luckily they were the cheapest tix(: and poor ferrari ... booooooo... they're so lousy for this grand prix. but i guess they'll regain their championship title (hopefully) for the next race? hahahahaha.

4) nearer proximity to the carpark
okay so that was how i spent my sunday. one whole day cause of the travelling. one hour plus by car. yupps.
monday.
went to suzhou cause my father had a meeting there. his friend brought me around to see the sceneries and the suzhou garden. it's really very pretty. cause all the flowers are in full-bloom. yippeeeeeee.
yupps. and after that we went to walk the streets to buy stuff.
i bought a pretty scarf from this shop. hahaha.
think it's considered expensive to the chinese here. but erm. i think not that expensive but not that cheap too. cause i'm comparing it to gap's scarves. which i remembered they were retailing at 50 SGD for cotton scarf. hmmmmm. but some of the chinese here aren't poor at all. so irritating. and they spend money like crazy. hmph. irritating!!
my father showed me some housing projects by other companies that the houses are ... 10 million RMB? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

早安! greetings from Shanghai
okay. i know it's only 7 + in the morning and i'm already awake so now i'm using the computer at my dad's rented apartment while waiting for him.
WHY? cause i set my stupid alarm clock at 6.30 instead of 7.30 so i woke up one hour earlier! ): and now i have to wait at least 2 hours for my father to wake up and get ready!
so dumb. why does my phone has auto-updating of the time zone when Shanghai has the same timing as Singapore. roar. luckily i slept early ytd (:
Shanghai is really bright! With lots of colourful neon lights(: i like!
and XIN TIAN DI'S shopping area is really huge. it doesn't even feel like China in there cause there are so many caucasians and tourists. Also quite alot of nihon-jin. hahahas
tourist attraction you see! hahahas.

hope i'll be able to find nice shoes and a bag.
i brought with me the discount card that big sister had made the previous time.
According to my father, the shoes was over a 1000 RMB that's why there was a discount card being issued. HAHAHAS, yes... she has very expensive taste.
AND. the german restuarant ytd selling pork knuckles were really good (: mostly tourists. almost 100 percent tourists? HAHAHA
packed packed and packed. thankfully we managed to get the seats after negotiating with the waitress.
today.
gonna eat mac's for breakfast later. i hope they have pancakes or egg mcmuffin!
Later, gonna watch the F1 race!

INITIALLYi planned to meet allie and her sister for the book fair at the expo. But due to my lethargic self, i laid in bed. refusing to surrender to the alarm and decided to notify allie that i won't be going to the bkfair already. Another example of how my laziness had won me over.
when i awoke from my sleep (for the second time! HAHAS), it was a freaking 11.20 on my phone clock already. and i had to meet them at tampines control station at 12.00? That's clearly impossible right. i tried rushing. BUT it was a failed attempt though it could had been a successful one. Why? It was because my mother was one step ahead of me - she had already bought lunch and so i had to eat before going out!
Money wasted on taxi fare to tampines - no shuttle bus service from 12 to 1 and i left at 12.20? thankfully there weren't any peak hour surcharge and the taxi fare wasn't that expensive:D

Reached tampines and met felix allie and her sister. tampines seriously is exploding with people. Were were walking at a crawling rate at tampines one. And the funny thing is that there were more patrons strolling outside the shops than patroning the shops. hahahas. everybody just likes new stuff, don't they! Some shops were quite cool especially this shop that sold all the artsy crafty stuff! HAD wanted to go to UNIQLO, but we abandoned the idea cause of the stupid long queue just to ENTER. Typicial reason: OPENING SPECIALS. Walked one round for all floors? in tampines one before we trained down to bugis in search of allie's ribbons!
First went to art friend at bras basah! But, there weren't any ribbons.
Next to some shopping centre further down bugis and they recommended this shop at arab street that sold ribbons.
and GUESS WHAT.
GOOD FRIDAY = PUBLIC HOLIDAY = CLOSED
dang! hahahas.
we were half drenched by the time we took a bus back to bugis.
walked and shopped awhile before heading to jco for donuts
and i feel soooooo noob-ish. hahahas. i didn't know their drinks came with plain donuts. could have saved $1.30!
and we went kinokuniya after that. Bought PS. I love you.

hello!i'm here to do a brief update.
last tuesday (i know it's a little outdated but i'm only updating now you see) met up with jos and lynette to watch Confessions of Shopaholic. i love the show. but not as much as i loved the book. the book's so much more detailed! o'wells. but nonetheless, worth your six dollars (that is if you're watching it on a weekday). I don't think i will end up in the state of rebecca bloomwood's! Her debt is huge! and well, at least she managed to pay them after *spoiler alert*
auctioning off all her clothes.
yupps. But, i think they did change the storyline a little.
after the movie, we went to do some light shopping ( we didn't buy anything!) went to zara and saw this pair of yellow shorts that costs 49.90. material's good. But, i wanna save money. i have to! Should start saving.
zara's season wasn't that bad. to be honest, one of the better seasons.
and i think esprit is having the best season that they can ever have.
all their clothes are so eye-catching! ): but quite expensive!
shall save up ... to spend?
what irony!
okay. enough said of shopping! it's a test on my will and determination!
next, we met cow before heading on to timbre's at old school.
the place was extremely stinky. smelled like some bird park ):
Not that bad for the ambience though.
and I horribly spent alot of money on food that day!
ps. i'm lazy to upload photos cuz i always have difficulties in organising the photos on blogger!

helped my mother run some errands and helped her to tally her accounts. not that i can do accounting work. it's just helping her to check if the invoice was there. And i walked to the chamber of commerce once again to get some documents. seriously hate that place. so many sky-scrapers. and i'm not sure of the nearest way there. roar.

met eunice sie hui in the morning at my house to go swimming (:
sadly, it started raining after we swam a mere 10 laps!
that always happens!
so we used the steam bath when the rain fell upon us.
met felix at orchard after waffling and training down
ate at canele. i would say the salad was not fantastic but good
went to wheelock in an ATTEMPT to get it upgraded to the latest firmware.
in the end, the sales attendant told me the upgrades need to be done by downloading from the itunes shop ONLINE!
