let's welcome the year of 2010 (:
it seemed like just yesterday we were counting down to the millennium
and that's already a decade ago
how time flies when you're not watching it!
the year of 2009 had clearly zoomed passed
probably because of the 8 month holiday that we had after A'levels!
i had my fair share of travelling in 2009.
In april 2009, it was the first time that i took an aircraft all by my own to meet my father at the airport.
and the first time that i visited england:D
first time that i worked!
and the first time that i opened the doors of my heart to somebody special ((:
2009 also marked an academic milestone in my life
when i first set foot into the grounds of Nanyang Technological University
I didn't know what to expect from it
but now, one semester just went away
one treacherous semester that i couldn't wait for it to end
but really, i'm grateful that i had friends that made school much more bearable:D
2009 may not be the best year i had
full of ups and downs
but i guess that's what life is all about right
overcoming the setbacks and moving on
what will 2010 hold for us?
none will be able to predict the unprecedented future ahead
what we can do is to make the best of what we have
after-all, life is what we make out of it
to welcome the new year
here are some new year resolutions:
1) Be more hardworking for the new semester ahead
2) No more last minute mugging and rushing of lab reports
3) Be more tolerant to others and less short-fused
4) Be more understanding towards boyfriend
5) Be nicer to family!
6) Stop relying on retail therapy!!
7) Improve my english
8) Read more books!
9) Try to start reading the newspapers when there's time
10) Have better time management
11) Cut down on facebook usage (HAHAHAS. if possible)
12) Be more accommodating! i need a bigger heart ): <
13) Be more trusting towards bf
that's all!
just came back from hongkong/macau yesterday!
mum fell sick on the trip ):
probably because of all of the heaty things we ate
and hence, didn't do alot alot of shopping
it's getting late and i'm feeling lazy to upload photos!
shall upload more the next time!
